Swan Towing now offer an Emergency Incident Response Service (EIRS) which will deploy its specialist fleet of incident response vehicles highly trained operators to attend an Emergency incident. The EIRS team can clean up and manage spills involving dangerous goods to ensure the safety of motorists, the general public, and the environment. Swan Towing respond to these incidents efficiently to try and remove the likely hood of further incidents.

A guide to determining the severity of an incident:
Minor incident – refers to a minor incident regardless of whether an actual spill had occurred or not, with little effect or risk to the public, property or environment. These incidents, including breakdowns, usually involve quick clean-up and recovery procedures.
Moderate incident – refers to incidents which pose some threat to the public, property or environment. These incidents have some impact such as road closures for lengthy periods during clean-up.
Significant incident – refers to incidents creating injury to persons and/or which present a significant risk and require considerable efforts to avoid escalation of the impact during recovery. major – refers to incidents creating injury to persons and/or with a major impact on life, property or the environment, usually requiring a justified evacuation of the immediate area and generally accompanied by a high-level emergency response and clean-up/recovery operation.
Catastrophic incident – refers to a major catastrophe with multi-level response and evacuation or serious threat to public safety.
